CPM Resources

Part of the mission of the Citywide Prayer Movement of Kansas City is to provide powerful and effective resources to the Company of Thirsty Hearts throughout the metro region. We desire to facilitate the formulation of a dream from God of a historic revival and spiritual awakening that will result in the transformation of all the structures of our society. We are dreaming of a day of an open heaven in our region where Kansas City becomes a literal habitation of the manifest presence of God. Our desire is to help paint a picture of this dream through friendship with every pastor and leader in KC and ask this question, "What would it look like in your life personally and in your church and community to live in that day of revival and transformation?"

To facilitate connecting pastors, leaders and people of prayer to a common shared dream from God the Citywide Prayer Movement desires to fill the region with several significant resources. We realize every pastor is swamped with constant reading material, sample promo videos of new ministry projects, etc. therefore we want to keep our recommended resources to a minimum.

We would like to get each of the Transformation Videos produced by worldwide revival researcher George Otis, Jr. into the hands of every pastor and leader in our region. These videos are filled with live examples of revivals and transformation of cities and regions currently under way around the world. There are several books that we recommend pastors and leaders to read and study concerning prayer and preparation of our lives and communities to be a habitation of God. An Unconventional War

An Unconventional War - This is an amazing account of God's power at work in Northern Uganda, and the power of prayer and forgiveness - this is the latest offering from the Sentinel Group.

We highly recommend obtaining the Transformations videos to get a fuller vision of the kinds of changes that this kind of "presence-based" Transformation can make in a society.
